Sr Principal Engineering Program Manager (Quality)

Location: Onsite, primarily from an HPE office. The stated salary range applies to the United States, including California.

Salary: USD 174,000–352,500 annual base salary in California, United States. Variable incentives may also be offered.

What you will do

• Lead strategic hardware and software quality improvement initiatives across the HPE Networking portfolio.
• Define and execute portfolio-wide quality improvement roadmaps.
• Establish quality governance processes, executive reviews, and operating rhythms.
• Drive alignment across engineering and operations teams around quality goals, metrics, and accountability.
• Communicate program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to product stakeholders.
• Mentor less-experienced team members and lead cross-functional continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business management, engineering, computer science, or an equivalent field.
• Typically 10+ years of experience managing programs and projects.
• Experience designing and implementing quality improvement processes, tools, and governance for hardware and software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, business acumen, and cross-business-unit program management skills.
• Experience communicating with internal and external stakeholders and directing matrixed teams and resources.
• Mastery of English and the local language, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• PMP or PMI certification.
• Experience developing innovative technical, engineering, or manufacturing processes.
