Vendor Management Operations Lead (SaaS)

Salary: $110,000–$125,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day strategic vendor management operations, including intake, sourcing, procurement, and vendor lifecycle workflows.
• Run operating cadences, prioritize backlogs, and track cost savings in partnership with Finance.
• Coordinate sourcing priorities across Category Leaders, Procurement, Finance, business stakeholders, and the Enterprise Transformation Office.
• Improve e-sourcing, guided buying, catalog adoption, spend visibility, tail-spend management, and supplier consolidation.
• Own operational dashboards, KPIs, reporting, vendor performance management, and third-party risk escalation.
• Enable technology, automation, process standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives across strategic vendor management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or an advanced degree is preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in vendor management, indirect procurement, or sourcing operations, including exposure to SaaS and technology environments.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing programs, teams, or operating models in cross-functional, matrixed environments.
• Experience building and scaling procurement operating models, governance frameworks, and end-to-end vendor lifecycle processes.
• Expertise in vendor performance management, including KPIs, SLAs, scorecards, third-party risk, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong financial, commercial, analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder-influence, and decision-making skills, with familiarity with procurement, vendor management, and CLM systems.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services or other regulated environments.
• Experience supporting enterprise transformation or operating model changes.
• Expertise in SaaS vendor optimization, licensing strategies, or enterprise platforms.
• Experience with Coupa, Ariba, or other procurement and CLM technologies.
• Certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, CSCP, CTPRP, PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or ITIL.
