Mortgage Licensing Specialist (Mortgage)

Location: Hybrid role requiring onsite work at the Duluth, Georgia office and remote work multiple days each week. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00–5:00 or 9:00–6:00.

Salary: $50,000–$52,000 annually.

What you will do

• Guide representatives through the steps required to obtain mortgage licenses.
• Process licensing tasks within required timeframes and maintain accurate records.
• Apply mortgage licensing requirements across multiple states.
• Become an in-house expert on the NMLS system and licensing process.
• Communicate with representatives, state regulators, and third-party vendors as needed.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders while responding to multiple communication channels.

Requirements

• College degree or equivalent business experience.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail with the ability to multitask, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational, decision-making, and judgment skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changes in procedures or policies.
• Self-starter with a flexible, positive approach to a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience working with NMLS or in mortgage licensing.
