Patient Access Supervisor (Healthcare)

Location: Naples, FL, United States; onsite

Salary: $47,400 annually starting salary; final compensation based on experience.

What you will do

• Oversee daily patient access and pre-access operations, including registration and preregistration workflows.
• Coordinate staff schedules, rotations, time off, call-offs, and on-call coverage while balancing productivity and overtime.
• Track department KPIs such as point-of-service collections, wait times, overtime, productivity, and upfront collections.
• Train, coach, evaluate, and support staff development, including audits and corrective action when needed.
• Resolve complex patient and operational issues, support ancillary departments, and maintain service excellence.
• Lead process improvement projects, attend facility meetings, and report implementation progress to Patient Access Leadership.

Requirements

• Associate degree or bachelor's degree.
• Two to three years of supervisory experience in healthcare or business is preferred.
• Ability to lead and direct others, strong analytical ability, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of registration, insurance, scheduling, verification, and hospital billing.
• Certified Healthcare Access Management (CHAM) and Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) certifications.
• Demonstrated advanced use of AI and experience managing teams that apply AI to process and technology improvements.
