2nd Shift Machinist (CNC)

Location: La Crosse, Wisconsin, United States; on-site five days per week.

Salary: $28.42 per hour, plus a $2.50 second- and weekend-shift premium.

What you will do

• Operate CNC machines in automatic and manual modes, including machine zeroing and interface-panel navigation.
• Change tool offsets, adjust tooling, and set speeds and feeds to meet production and quality requirements.
• Read, interpret, and troubleshoot CNC programs using M&G codes.
• Review blueprints, part drawings, schematics, and tolerance requirements to determine machining specifications.
• Perform in-process and final inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other measurement devices.
• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and hoists while supporting documentation, problem solving, 5-S, and lean activities.

Requirements

• Associate degree, certification, and/or equivalent on-the-job experience.
• Ability to work any shift and overtime as needed, cross-train, follow plant policies, and use required personal protective equipment.
• Ability to read, write, and follow work instructions, work order packets, and safety instructions in English.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment visa sponsorship.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 35 pounds and perform repetitive bending, twisting, squatting, kneeling, gripping, and stooping.
• Ability to work at heights on ladders and lifts while using fall protection; successful background check and drug screen required.
