CNC Machinist, 2nd Class - 2nd Shift

Location: East Farmingdale, New York, United States. On-site, second shift from 5:30pm to 2:30am.

Hourly rate: $32.39. Sign-on bonus available.

Manufactures highly engineered valves and related products for the U.S. Navy nuclear fleet and the global nuclear power generation industry.

What you will do

• Operate CNC equipment within the assigned manufacturing department, including tool offsets and compensations.
• Perform simple equipment setups with minimal supervision.
• Maintain quality and productivity standards while following company procedures.
• Inspect completed work using inspection equipment and make adjustments as required.
• Maintain accurate manufacturing documentation, time reporting, housekeeping, and work-center maintenance compliance.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years of manufacturing or related experience.
• Blueprint reading, shop mathematics, and trigonometry skills.
• Ability to comprehend daily information, make independent decisions, and follow quality and safety requirements.
