HVAC Product Design Engineer

Location: On-site in Conselve, Padova, Italy, five days per week

What you will do

• Design new HVAC products and maintain or improve existing chillers and heat pumps.
• Perform thermodynamic calculations and select main components, including compressors, heat exchangers, and control valves.
• Optimize product performance and cost according to Product Management requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, sales, after-sales, and other company departments.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to production, sales, and after-sales teams.
• Lead NPD projects, ensuring on-time delivery within scope and according to project management procedures.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in HVAC product design engineering or a similar field.
• Master’s degree in Engineering; Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics applied to chillers and heat pumps.
• Experience designing chillers and heat pumps, selecting main components, and using specialized software tools.
• Knowledge of standards and regulations for chillers and heat pumps.
• Italian required; English at B2 level required. Strong problem-solving, communication, and pressure-management skills are also expected.
