Field Service Engineer (Semiconductor Equipment)

Location: Agrate Brianza (MB), Catania, or Milan, Italy; customer-site work and international placements may be required.

Salary: €32,000–€44,000 per year

What you will do

• Install and support advanced electro-mechanical and electronic wafer fabrication equipment at customer locations.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance independently or as part of a team.
• Troubleshoot systems systematically and eliminate equipment faults.
• Support service solutions across Chemical Vapor Deposition, Atomic Layer Deposition, Plasma Reactive Ion Etch, Physical Vapor Deposition, Anneal, Implant, Metrology, and Inspection technologies.
• Complete theoretical, practical, and on-the-job training with guidance from buddies, colleagues, and managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, information systems, or a related field, either graduating or recently completed.
• Advanced English required.
• Proficient French required.
• Strong teamwork, interpersonal, judgment, and trust-building skills.
• Ability to analyze plant documentation, schematics, hardware data, and other information sources.
• Ability to explain complex or sensitive information and build consensus.
