Hydraulic Engineer

TL;DR

Hydraulic Engineer (Hydraulic Design/CAD): Developing hydraulic components and machines for dewatering and industrial pumping applications with an accent on prototype development, simulation, and product compliance. Focus on designing components and assemblies, validating prototypes through CFD and FEM analysis, and supporting sourcing and serial production launch.

Location: On-site in Padova, Italy, with a hybrid working model and flexible working hours; national and international travel is required.

Salary: From €32,000 gross per year, paid over 14 monthly installments, plus a collective profit-sharing bonus.

What you will do

• Design hydraulic components, new machines, assemblies, layouts, and maintenance updates for legacy products.
• Perform CFD and FEM simulations using CFX and support prototype testing and qualification activities.
• Create bills of materials, technical documentation, spare-parts drawings, manuals, and configuration-system libraries.
• Support Purchasing during sourcing and Production during the start-up of serial manufacturing.
• Verify and document compliance with applicable regulations.
• Collaborate with T&I, engineering, project leaders, and corporate departments throughout product development.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing, including casting and machining design.
• At least 2 years of experience with CFX simulation software and CAD/SolidWorks for manufactured products.
• Strong collaboration, communication, attention-to-detail, and data-analysis skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, AI technologies, and ERP/MRP systems.
• Fluent Italian and good written and spoken English are essential; availability for national and international travel is required.
