Director, Commercial FP&A (Biotech)

Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States

Salary: $210,261–$256,985 USD per year, plus performance-based annual cash bonus and equity compensation.

What you will do

• Build patient-based top-down and bottom-up revenue models for the company’s first commercial launch.
• Lead FP&A planning for the commercial organization and establish the initial forecasting framework.
• Develop gross-to-net models for rebates, chargebacks, and co-pay assistance.
• Partner with Market Access to model payer contracting, Medicaid and Medicare mandates, and 340B impacts.
• Provide the C-suite with visibility into revenue projections versus actuals and sales performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 8–12 years of experience in Finance or Accounting, including biotech launch readiness and experience taking a drug from Phase III to commercial availability.
• Deep knowledge of US drug pricing, buy-and-bill and specialty pharmacy models, and gross-to-net accrual methodology.
• Ability to build spreadsheets and processes from scratch and work effectively with ambiguity.
• Ability to challenge Commercial leadership with data-driven, ROI-focused recommendations.
