Director, Business Finance – CrossLab Consumables & Services Divisions

Location: US-DE-Wilmington, with an option to work remotely

Salary: $135,840–$254,700 per year, plus eligibility for bonus, stock, and benefits

What you will do

• Partner with division leaders to provide financial guidance, challenge assumptions, and support operational decisions.
• Lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance management for assigned businesses.
• Support commercial, marketing, and service leaders in optimizing recurring revenue, pricing, customer retention, service contracts, and commercial investments.
• Identify performance risks and opportunities, and recommend actions to improve growth, profitability, and resource allocation.
• Oversee business cases and financial analyses for investments, product development, commercial initiatives, and portfolio decisions.
• Collaborate with the FP&A Center of Excellence and use automation and AI-enabled tools to improve reporting, forecasting, and decision support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience in consumables, services, life sciences, diagnostics, manufacturing, or recurring-revenue businesses.
• Strong understanding of recurring-revenue models, including pricing, service contract economics, installed-base management, customer retention, product lifecycle management, and margin optimization.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders on strategy, investments, resource allocation, and profitable growth.
• Experience leading planning, forecasting, performance management, and executive decision support in a complex global matrixed organization.
• Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, analytical, digital, automation, and AI capabilities.

Nice to have

• MBA, CPA, or equivalent advanced degree.
