Director, Strategic Finance (AdTech)

Location: Irvine, California, United States

Base compensation: $175,000–$200,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead annual budgeting, monthly and quarterly forecasting, long-range planning, scenario analysis, and ad hoc financial analysis.
• Oversee the consolidated three-statement operating model, including projections, actual results, and key assumptions.
• Manage and develop the Senior Manager, Strategic Finance, while reviewing models, forecasts, Board support, and financial analyses.
• Partner with Corporate Finance and Investor Relations on quarterly earnings, guidance, and analysis of business performance.
• Prepare financial projections and executive narratives for Board and Audit Committee materials.
• Support M&A and strategic investments through business analysis, pro forma modeling, and integration planning.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience in strategic finance, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or a high-growth public company.
• Experience owning complex three-statement financial models, long-range plans, annual budgets, and executive forecasting processes.
• Prior people management experience and the ability to direct, review, and develop analytical work.
• Strong understanding of accounting concepts, financial statements, revenue, capitalization, and cost classification.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, plus strong PowerPoint and executive communication skills.
• BS/BA in Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience in AdTech, SaaS, digital media, or technology.
• MBA and/or CFA.
