What you will do

  • Independently execute, monitor, and interpret in vivo mouse cancer studies, including CDX, PDX, disseminated, and syngeneic models.
  • Evaluate novel small-molecule and biologic cancer therapeutics through efficacy, pharmacokinetic, and tolerability studies.
  • Collect and prepare tumor-study tissues for downstream pharmacodynamic analyses, including IHC, flow cytometry, and RNA sequencing.
  • Identify, validate, and use humanized mouse models to support oncology pipeline assets.
  • Interpret multistage experimental results, draw conclusions, and design follow-up studies aligned with project goals.
  • Develop novel in vivo approaches and experimental protocols to address complex biological questions.

Requirements

  • BS degree with 5+ years of experience or MS degree with 2+ years of experience in physiology, pharmacology, molecular biology, or a related biology field.
  • Strong expertise in in vivo experimentation, including animal health monitoring, tumor implantation, tumor measurement, dosing by IP, IV, SC, and PO routes, and blood or tissue collection.
  • Experience designing and executing studies in immunocompromised and immunocompetent mice.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with in vitro biology, translational and biomarker, and medicinal chemistry teams.
  • Ability to perform routine and complex experimental tasks independently and interpret study data.

Nice to have

  • Experience with huPBMC and CD34 humanized mice.
  • Experience with CDX and/or PDX xenograft mouse models of cancer.
  • Experience with ADC or T-cell engager therapeutics.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Study Director, GraphPad Prism, data management, and statistical analysis.
