Salary: $127,100–$162,900 for Scientist I; $143,800–$184,300 for Scientist II per year

What you will do

  • Design and execute research strategies to identify causal regulators of cell state, aging, regeneration, and disease biology.
  • Develop experimental workflows connecting genetic perturbation with molecular and phenotypic readouts across cellular and animal models.
  • Support transcriptomic, proteomic, single-cell, and other genomic and molecular profiling methods.
  • Design and execute hands-on mouse studies in relevant chronic disease models, including drug administration, tissue harvest, and processing.
  • Collaborate with computational scientists and cross-functional teams to integrate multidimensional datasets and generate biological insight.
  • Lead project strategy, experimental execution, troubleshooting, data interpretation, publications, patents, and scientific planning.

Requirements

  • PhD in Biology, Stem Cell Biology, Aging, Physiology, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with small rodent handling and independently coordinating complex in vivo studies.
  • Expertise in physiologically relevant mouse models for chronic diseases and disease cell or mechanistic biology.
  • Experience with in vivo delivery modalities such as AAV, LNP, or related systems.
  • Ability to lead complex research projects independently, analyze multidimensional datasets, and derive biological insights.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in collaborative, interdisciplinary environments.

Nice to have

  • Experience in aging biology, regeneration, fibrosis, inflammation, metabolic disease, neurodegeneration, or related therapeutic areas.
  • Experience with in vivo lung, kidney, or liver disease models.
  • Hands-on experience generating and maintaining ex vivo precision-cut tissue slices.
  • Experience with tissue-level genomics assays and analyses.
  • Relevant postdoctoral or industry experience and a track record demonstrated through publications, patents, or platform development.
