Civil Engineer III (Civil Infrastructure)

Location: Ossipee, New Hampshire, with placement in one of hirify.global's New Hampshire offices; field work and occasional travel required

Salary: $85,000 starting salary; final compensation depends on qualifications, experience, and licensing status

What you will do

• Design civil engineering projects for recreational, municipal, commercial, residential, and institutional clients.
• Develop site grading, drainage, stormwater, roadway, parking, trail, and pedestrian facility designs.
• Design drinking water treatment, distribution, and storage systems, as well as wastewater collection infrastructure.
• Prepare technical reports, permit applications, plans, and drainage calculations.
• Serve as engineer of record, stamp project documents, and lead technical design execution under the Project Manager.
• Mentor engineers and perform QA/QC reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in civil engineering or a related field; higher education is preferred.
• New Hampshire PE license required; Vermont, Maine, and Massachusetts licensure preferred.
• 5+ years of professional civil engineering experience in northern New England or a similar setting.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD or similar stormwater modeling software, WaterCAD, and Bluebeam.
• Technical experience with water and wastewater infrastructure, stormwater, site design, and permitting in New Hampshire or a similar regulatory environment.
• Valid driver's license and ability to perform field work, including carrying equipment and walking on undeveloped sites.
