Senior Land Surveyor

Location: Moon Township, Pennsylvania, or Cleveland, Ohio, United States. Onsite survey work may include field work and overnight travel.

Salary: $95,915–$140,600 per year.

What you will do

• Manage surveying projects from proposal development through final deliverables.
• Serve as Surveyor of Record and provide professional oversight in accordance with state regulations.
• Review and certify boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, right-of-way, construction, and mapping surveys.
• Prepare and review easement exhibits, plats, maps, legal descriptions, calculations, and survey data.
• Coordinate survey activities with project managers, engineers, clients, regulatory agencies, and utility providers.
• Perform quality assurance and quality control reviews of survey deliverables.

Requirements

• Active Professional Land Surveyor license in any state, or Surveyor-in-Training/LSIT designation with the ability to obtain PLS licensure within two years.
• 8+ years of progressively responsible surveying experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in surveying or geomatics where required for licensing.
• Experience with boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, right-of-way, construction, and control surveys.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D, MicroStation, Trimble Business Center, Carlson, or Leica Infinity.
• Required DOD clearances; availability for field work and overnight travel.
