Team Lead - Civil Engineer (Renewable Civil)

Location: Full-time remote within the United States or local/in-office in Lakewood, Colorado. Field work and approximately 15–25% travel may be required. Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States.

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead engineers, drafters, and technicians delivering solar photovoltaic civil and structural engineering scopes.
• Develop and review site plans, grading and drainage plans, road plans, construction details, permitting packages, and supporting calculations.
• Manage site planning, stormwater modeling, erosion control, hydrology analysis, SWPPPs, BMPs, and stormwater reports.
• Review designs, submittals, customer specifications, and work products for quality, accuracy, code compliance, and client requirements.
• Plan and coordinate projects, schedules, budgets, cost estimates, proposals, field inspections, and construction supervision.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate work across project teams while supporting client communication and business development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Civil Engineering Technology from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering or field experience.
• FE certification required; PE preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, decision-making, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Current full-time authorization to work in the United States is required.
