Intern Engineering Designer (Water)

Location: Bellevue, Washington, United States; onsite at the Bellevue office

What you will do

• Support feasibility studies, functional plans, and preliminary detailed designs for water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Contribute to projects involving pump stations, reservoirs, treatment facilities, water distribution and transmission systems, and collection systems.
• Perform engineering calculations and analysis.
• Assist with project monitoring, scheduling, permits, and construction approvals.
• Collaborate with engineers, drafters, and support staff and attend site visits or inspections.

Requirements

• Current third-year undergraduate standing in an accredited Civil Engineering program or related discipline.
• Experience with MS Word, Excel, and engineering software.
• Strong organizational, time management, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively in a team.
• Commitment to integrity, innovation, continuous learning, and responsible professional conduct.

Nice to have

• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or MicroStation.
• Experience with ArcGIS.
