Senior Engineer I (Civil Engineering)

Location: Hybrid role based in the Wilkesboro or Charlotte, North Carolina, US offices

Salary: $115,000–$145,000 annually

What you will do

• Manage project design activities, including technical quality, resources, processes, costs, and schedules.
• Prepare and supervise design documents, specifications, cost estimates, studies, and reports.
• Perform detailed civil design and QA/QC reviews for residential and commercial development projects.
• Coordinate with engineering and architecture disciplines on complex projects.
• Conduct site investigations and support construction administration.
• Manage client deliverables, permitting, and coordination with federal, state, and local municipalities.

Requirements

• 8–15 years of engineering consulting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Proficiency with MS Office, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Hydraflow, or equivalent hydrology software.
• Experience with residential and commercial development, site layout, grading and drainage, hydraulics, hydrology, stormwater and water quality, water and sewer, and permitting.
