Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer

Location: Easton, Massachusetts, or hirify.global offices in New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, or Massachusetts

Salary: Starting at $120,000 annually; final compensation depends on qualifications, experience, and licensing status.

What you will do

• Design and manage civil engineering projects involving drinking water treatment, distribution and storage, wastewater collection, stormwater, roads, and drainage.
• Prepare and certify reports, permit applications, bidding documents, and materials for local, state, and federal permits.
• Develop engineering studies and cost opinions for water and wastewater projects.
• Complete CAD design work using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Assist with construction services, including contract administration and resident project representative management.
• Lead feasibility studies and phased design efforts for treatment facilities, intake systems, pump stations, and pressure management projects.

Requirements

• NH Professional Engineer license required; Vermont and Maine licenses are highly desirable.
• Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of professional civil engineering experience focused on water and wastewater design in northern New England or a similar setting.
• Experience with AutoCAD, including Civil 3D.
• Technical experience with water and wastewater infrastructure, stormwater, site design, and permitting in New Hampshire or a similar regulatory environment.
• Ability to complete fieldwork, including carrying equipment and walking on undeveloped sites.
