Senior Professional Surveyor

Location: Remote-ME, with projects in Northern New England and local Maine areas

Salary: $45–$52 per hour

What you will do

• Manage diverse land survey projects supporting engineering, construction, and land development.
• Perform conventional survey and GPS computations, error analysis, land records research, and boundary reconnaissance.
• Make boundary decisions using Colonial Land reconstruction theories and prepare and seal final boundary, subdivision, and site plan surveys.
• Prepare engineering basemaps for civil and structural design projects.
• Supervise field crews and collaborate with architects, engineers, geologists, and other specialists.
• Coordinate staffing, equipment, project and marketing needs, assist with budgets and contracts, and attend planning board or agency meetings for Maine projects.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience, or 20+ years of equivalent experience.
• Massachusetts or Maine professional survey license required; New Hampshire license is optional.
• 5+ years of professional land surveying experience in Northern New England.
• Ability to manage projects and maintain client relationships.
• Experience with AutoCAD design software; Civil 3D experience is a plus.
• Strong technical skills and high professional standards.
