Security Systems Design Engineer (Access Control & Surveillance)

Location: Hybrid in New Jersey, New York, or Philadelphia offices for local candidates; remote for other candidates. Some travel to US sites.

Salary: $105,000–$130,000 USD per year, plus performance-based bonuses.

What you will do

• Design and engineer access control, video surveillance, and visitor management systems for commercial and data center projects.
• Develop system layouts, schematics, and documentation using CAD and/or Revit.
• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and vendors to deliver security solutions.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously across various regions.
• Represent the organization in client-facing interactions and build long-term relationships.
• Support business development by identifying opportunities for repeat and expanded work and stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in security engineering, specifically in access control and surveillance systems.
• Experience supporting corporate fit-outs and/or data center projects.
• Strong knowledge of multiple hardware and software platforms for access control, CCTV, and visitor management systems.
• Proficiency in CAD and/or Revit.
• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
• Ability to work from the New Jersey, New York, or Philadelphia offices when local, or remotely when located elsewhere; some travel to US sites is required.
