Senior Data Center Commissioning Provider

Location: Remote, United States; travel up to 75%

Salary: $100,000–$160,000 USD per year, plus performance-based bonuses

What you will do

• Serve as the primary client contact and commissioning authority for assigned projects.
• Lead commissioning strategy for complex, multi-system data center projects from pursuit through warranty.
• Develop scopes of work, schedules, fee estimates, commissioning plans, test procedures, and project documentation.
• Lead design reviews, OPR workshops, commissioning meetings, site observations, system testing, and issue resolution.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, deliverables, invoicing support, forecasting, resources, contract scope, safety, and quality standards.
• Provide technical oversight and mentorship, and lead closeout reports, systems manuals, and warranty walkthroughs.

Requirements

• Remote work based in the United States with up to 75% travel.
• 7–10 years of progressive commissioning experience and demonstrated ability to lead complex commissioning projects independently.
• Bachelor’s degree required; relevant commissioning, construction, or facilities experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Advanced knowledge of building systems, construction documents, drawings, local energy codes, LEED commissioning requirements, and industry standards.
• Strong client-facing communication, relationship management, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, budgeting, scheduling, and contract skills.
• Preferred certifications include Project Management, Professional Engineering, Building Commissioning, OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety, and NFPA 70E.

• Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS).
• Professional Engineering (PE) license.
• Building commissioning certification.
• Project Management certification.
