Senior Sediment Remediation Engineer

Location: Remote or based in an office across the United States; the listed office location is Bedminster, NJ.

Salary: Minimum $120,000 annually, negotiable based on geographic location, skills, and certifications.

What you will do

• Design and implement sediment investigation scopes of work and work plans.
• Develop and manage RI/FS and PDI investigation campaigns.
• Design sediment remediation solutions for complex CERCLA and state-equivalent sites.
• Collaborate with sediment investigation and remediation experts on technical delivery.
• Engage with clients, support business development, and contribute to growth of the Sediment Remediation Services group.
• Provide leadership, training, mentoring, and supervision to staff.

Requirements

• Licensed professional engineer with a degree in engineering.
• 10+ years of experience delivering sediment remediation engineering and related services on large, complex sediment sites.
• Experience serving as engineer of record on multiple CERCLA or state-equivalent sediment remediation design projects.
• Extensive experience with dredge design, cap design, in-situ remediation methods, and dredged material management.
• Experience working in multiple states and with multiple clients, including strong client relationships and business development capability.
• Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, communication, safety, collaboration, and digital technology skills.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in engineering or a related field.
• Established reputation in sediment remediation, including conference presentations and participation in relevant work groups.
