Technical Writer (AI)

Location: Remote

What you will do

• Design realistic technical evaluation tasks using CSVs, PDFs, spreadsheets, code samples, and technical documents.
• Create and curate product specifications, SME notes, regulatory documents, and other technical source materials.
• Define expected solutions, acceptance criteria, output requirements, and detailed 35+ point grading rubrics.
• Create API references, user guides, technical instructions, compliance documents, and other documentation tasks.
• Synthesize complex source material into precise, actionable documentation and adapt content for different audiences.
• Collaborate asynchronously with project teams to refine deliverables.

Requirements

• 2–4+ years of technical writing experience, preferably with a portfolio in software, hardware, medical devices, or regulated industries.
• Strong precision writing, analytical reasoning, technical editing, and source synthesis skills.
• Experience with style guides, structured authoring, documentation toolchains, and technical documentation.
• Ability to create precise, testable instructions and adapt tone and technical depth for different audiences.
• Exceptional written English required.
• Comfort working with PDFs, spreadsheets, CSVs, code samples, and other technical source materials.

Nice to have

• Experience creating acceptance criteria or evaluation rubrics.
• Familiarity with technical benchmarking or evaluation methodologies.
