Technician- Heavy Assembly

Location: Norwood, Massachusetts, United States of America; onsite heavy assembly work

Salary: $30.00–$32.00 per hour

What you will do

• Build, test, troubleshoot, and repair large industrial automated equipment.
• Assemble and integrate large mechanical structures and electromechanical systems.
• Use electrical wiring, mechanical assembly, schematics, blueprints, and drawings to complete builds with minimal supervision.
• Partner with Sustaining Engineering to redesign, troubleshoot, and validate products.
• Maintain proficiency with IFS, Agile, testing software, and other diagnostic and control-system tools.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Purchasing, and Quality on troubleshooting, work instructions, parts issues, and nonconformities.

Requirements

• Associate degree or technical training certification.
• At least three years of relevant direct experience with large industrial equipment or electromechanical systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, mechanical components, and automated equipment.
• Experience with large-scale mechanical structures and heavy equipment handling.
• Ability to follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, work instructions, blueprints, schematics, and drawings.
• Reading, writing, and conversational English required.

Nice to have

• Forklift and crane operation certification; training may be provided.
