Location: Grand Prairie, Texas, United States; onsite at the shot peening facility

Hourly rate: $25–$31 per hour

What you will do

• Work with the Maintenance Engineer to keep facility machinery operating at optimal performance.
• Read blueprints and schematic drawings, follow precise work procedures, and plan maintenance activities.
• Repair pumps, large conveying augers, dust collectors, blast rooms, and other industrial equipment.
• Assemble and fasten machinery using hand tools and power tools, including bolts, welds, and rivets.
• Align, lubricate, and troubleshoot machinery and equipment.
• Operate engine lathes or milling machines to produce machine parts to dimensional specifications.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of maintenance experience.
• Experience constructing and repairing industrial machines.
• Experience aligning machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, precision measuring tools, lasers, and plumb bobs.
• Experience repairing and lubricating machinery and equipment.
• Basic electrical knowledge and machine troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work safely at heights and make decisions based on measurable information.
