Mechanical Assembler

Location: Fontana, California, United States; onsite production-floor work

Salary: $18.59–$25.10 USD per hour

What you will do

• Review and follow blueprints, diagrams, procedures, work instructions, wiring drawings, schematics, and engineering diagrams.
• Assemble sheet metal panels for enclosure building doors, walls, roofs, and trusses.
• Use power tools and hand tools, including drills, impact drivers, screwdrivers, grinders, and tape measures.
• Perform quality checks, identify product defects, and record and report issues.
• Maintain workstation supplies, tools, parts, cleanliness, and safety.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of related experience in assembly, construction, or manufacturing.
• Experience safely operating powered equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, scissor lifts, or overhead cranes.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and written instructions, perform basic math, and work accurately.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, perform repetitive tasks, and lift, push, or pull up to 35 pounds.
• Manual dexterity, excellent hand-eye coordination, ability to distinguish colored wires and components, and willingness to wear required PPE.
