What you will do
- Build, test, and debug custom electromechanical materials testing systems and accessories.
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, drawings, electrical schematics, and verbal instructions.
- Modify components with hand and power tools and identify non-conforming materials.
- Provide hands-on technical support, assist with employee training, and offer technical leadership during assembly.
- Collaborate with production planning, purchasing, assembly, engineering, and management to deliver projects on time.
- Suggest design improvements and participate in continuous improvement and safety initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of electromechanical assembly or similar experience.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to perform complex electrical wiring from engineering drawings and schematics and troubleshoot systems using test and calibration equipment.
- Knowledge of machine shop practices, mechanical fits and tolerances, blueprint reading, and precision assembly.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, soldering irons, cranes, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods.

- Associate degree or higher in a technical field.
