Salary: $140,000–$200,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead planning, design, and construction completion for water, wastewater, stormwater, drinking water, and recycled water infrastructure projects.
• Direct technical development of systems including supply, storage, collection, distribution, treatment, pumping, and conveyance.
• Deliver projects within established budgets, schedules, and client performance expectations.
• Prepare construction documents, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and project schedules.
• Supervise and provide technical direction to design engineers and technical staff while coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Lead proposals, client pursuits, client meetings, and relationship development with municipalities, permitting agencies, developers, engineers, and contractors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related field focused on water resources, environmental, or hydraulic engineering.
• California PE registration, or the ability to obtain California registration within one year.
• 10+ years of experience in water/wastewater and stormwater planning, design, and construction administration as a lead design engineer or project manager.
• Experience leading teams, managing project delivery expectations, prioritizing work, and mentoring technical staff.
• Experience with GIS, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.

Nice to have

• Experience with levee design evaluation, analysis, and engineering design documentation.
• Experience with stormwater drainage infrastructure and comprehensive stormwater master planning.
