Temporary Accounts Receivable Collector/Billing Specialist

hirify.global is hiring for a temporary position supporting its accounts receivable operations.

What you will do

• Review weekly accounts receivable aging reports and proactively collect outstanding customer balances.
• Email customer statements and communicate with customers and internal partners about open balances.
• Investigate purchase orders, payment delays, short payments, and other issues affecting collections.
• Monitor customer accounts placed on credit hold due to non-payment and communicate issue status.
• Assist customers with ACH payment enrollment and application of available account credits.
• Process EDI invoices through customer portals.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in credit and collections.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Effective communication and phone skills with people at all organizational levels.
• Professional, friendly, and customer-focused approach.
• Accuracy, attention to detail, multitasking, and ability to follow established procedures.
• Team-oriented approach and ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
