Water/Wastewater Project Manager

Location: Medford, Albany, Newport, or Coos Bay, Oregon, United States

Salary: $120,000–$150,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead the design and rehabilitation or replacement of municipal treatment, pump station, storage, water distribution, wastewater collection, and stormwater infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot utility system operations and develop recommendations for operational improvements.
• Oversee mechanical systems design, including electrical and structural components.
• Coordinate subcontractors providing geotechnical, environmental, cultural, survey, and related services.
• Manage bidding, contractor coordination, construction oversight, project financing, funding agency reimbursement, and project closeout.
• Serve as a technical authority, mentor junior engineers, and guide utility providers in modernizing aging infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• PE registration in Oregon or the ability to obtain an Oregon license within one year.
• 5+ years of project management experience.
• Leadership experience in infrastructure rehabilitation and utility coordination.
• Strong knowledge of water and wastewater engineering, with practical field experience.
• Excellent written, verbal, and client-facing communication skills, including experience mentoring junior staff.
