Associate Director, Training

Location: Lexington, Massachusetts, United States; the conditions also reference Clayton, North Carolina, United States. Onsite work in an open office and shopfloor environment is expected, with up to 10% travel.

What you will do

• Lead and develop Training Managers, Training Partners, and training personnel across the GVP area.
• Set and execute the area-wide training strategy, implementation plans, priorities, and initiatives.
• Drive consistent implementation of GMS training standards, tools, technologies, and best practices.
• Ensure training compliance, inspection readiness, cGxP alignment, and effective quality improvement activities.
• Oversee training systems, operational performance, capability development, workforce planning, and maturity improvements.
• Manage the department budget, stakeholder relationships, change communication, and administrative operations.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a related field and at least seven years of relevant experience; alternative education and experience combinations are accepted.
• Strong knowledge of training and training systems in a regulated environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
• People leadership experience; experience leading leaders is preferred.
• Strong Lean or Lean Six Sigma training competencies in manufacturing.
• Ability to work in an open office and shopfloor environment and travel up to 10% of the time.
