Director, Product and Clinical Training (MedTech)

Location: Hybrid working from the Hammersmith office in London, United Kingdom; travel requirements: 25%.

What you will do

• Lead the international adaptation, translation, cultural localization, and validation of global product and clinical training content.
• Build a modular training framework combining global core materials with market-specific content.
• Translate global training strategies into regional roadmaps and coordinate local delivery with country sales leadership.
• Identify training gaps, oversee custom solution development and pilots, and refine content using learner feedback, proficiency metrics, and business outcomes.
• Represent international market needs in global forums and align commercial, medical, franchise, sales, finance, and legal stakeholders.
• Lead, coach, and develop training managers and local trainers while driving team capability and training excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, instructional design, education, or a related field; an MBA or master’s degree is preferred.
• Experience in commercial training, instructional design, or learning and development.
• Extensive experience managing high-performing training teams across functions and geographies.
• Strong stakeholder management, executive communication, presentation, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to operate across diverse cultural and regulatory contexts and lead through transformation and ambiguity.
• Technical proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, and Veeva.

Nice to have

• Experience in pharma, medtech, or another regulated industry.
• MBA or master’s degree.
