Senior Director, Training

Location: Hybrid, based in the Los Angeles office

Annual base salary: $227,000–$260,000, plus benefits and a discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Design and execute a global training delivery strategy aligned with organizational priorities and values.
• Lead Workday Learning operations, including content management, system administration, learner experience, reporting, and compliance training rollouts.
• Oversee the Los Angeles training facility, including programming, scheduling, operations, and in-person learning experiences.
• Develop training tools, templates, dashboards, and analytics to measure participation, program effectiveness, and business impact.
• Build a global train-the-trainer program and certify and coach internal facilitators across offices.
• Lead and develop a team of two while partnering with senior leaders, Human Resources, vendors, and global stakeholders.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive experience in training, learning and development, or organizational effectiveness, including 3–5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree required; a master’s degree in organizational development, education, human resources, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience designing and executing global training strategies in a complex, matrixed organization.
• Experience managing learning operations at scale, including LMS administration, vendor management, scheduling, budgets, and logistics.
• Knowledge of Workday Learning, adult learning principles, instructional design, blended and digital learning, facilitation, and change management.
• Ability to lead inclusively, influence stakeholders, and build high-performing training teams.

Nice to have

• Certifications in facilitation, instructional design, change management, or Workday LMS, such as Prosci, CPTD, or ATD.
• Experience evaluating and implementing AI-powered learning tools and emerging learning technologies.
