Senior Director, Training & Learning Operations (AI Learning)

Location: Hybrid, based in the Los Angeles office

Annual base salary: $227,000–$260,000, plus benefits and a discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and execute a global training delivery strategy aligned with organizational priorities and values.
• Lead Workday Learning operations, including content management, administration, user experience, reporting, and compliance training rollouts.
• Oversee external learning partners and vendors, training standards, operating procedures, scheduling, and program logistics.
• Manage the Los Angeles training facility and deliver in-person learning, executive programming, and facilitation experiences.
• Define training metrics, analyze program effectiveness, and present dashboards and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Build train-the-trainer capabilities and lead a team of two, including a Learning Solutions Manager and an LMS Administrator.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive experience in training, learning and development, or organizational effectiveness, including 3–5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree required; a Master’s degree in Organizational Development, Education, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience designing and executing global training strategies in a complex, matrixed organization.
• Experience managing learning operations at scale, including LMS administration and vendor or partner management.
• Knowledge of change management principles and their application to training and organizational initiatives.
• Knowledge of Workday Learning, including content management, learner reporting, and system configuration best practices.
• Strong facilitation, adult learning, instructional design, blended learning, digital learning, communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
• Ability to create inclusive, high-performance teams based on trust, belonging, psychological safety, empathy, and equity.
• Current knowledge of AI-powered learning tools, platforms, and best practices, with the ability to evaluate and implement learning technology at scale.

Nice to have

• Certifications in facilitation, instructional design, change management, or Workday LMS, such as Prosci, CPTD, or ATD.
