Machinist Operator L5 (Weekend night)

What you will do

• Operate automatic and semi-automatic manufacturing machinery within established operating, safety, and environmental parameters.
• Perform machine adjustments, code-change setups, troubleshooting, and repairs to maintain equipment performance and productivity.
• Supply materials, inspect and pack products, document production information, and monitor material usage.
• Complete routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance, including cleaning, greasing, lubrication, and scheduled PM procedures.
• Track production, scrap, downtime, setup time, parameters, batches, and other machine performance indicators using manual and electronic systems.
• Collaborate with Automation, Process Engineering, Product Engineering, and Quality teams on manufacturing analysis and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent studies in mechanics, electronics, die-making, or a related field.
• 0–1 year of experience with mechanics, electronics, die-making, or automatic and semi-automatic equipment.
• Knowledge of measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and rulers.
• Ability to prioritize work, identify equipment malfunctions and process deviations, make corrections, and work with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Ability to handle medium physical work, including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and moving objects.
