Machine Operator I - Day Shift

Location: Washington Court House, Ohio, United States; Workplace: On-site

Salary: $21–$31 per hour

What you will do

• Safely operate CNC machinery, including drills and saws, in a steel plant.
• Read and interpret blueprints, typed reports, schedules, and tape measurements.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance on operating equipment.
• Complete on-site training and demonstrate safe machine operation.
• Collaborate effectively and consistently deliver production results.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret typed reports and schedules.
• Ability to interpret blueprints.
• Ability to read a tape measure and demonstrate basic math aptitude.
• Ability to safely operate machinery after completing on-site training.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Nice to have

• Certifications or previous experience operating moving machinery, such as cranes.
