Machine and Equipment Technician/Operator

Location: Newark, Delaware, United States; on-site. Work requires 12-hour day or night shifts, including weekends and holidays, with schedule changes and overtime as needed.

What you will do

• Monitor and operate complex processes, equipment, machinery, and facilities used to manufacture roll-good materials.
• Safely troubleshoot production issues, make corrections, and follow established procedures to meet quality and production requirements.
• Collect and analyze samples, perform product inspections, and escalate abnormalities using testing and metrology equipment.
• Follow housekeeping, preventive maintenance, production schedules, and team operating standards.
• Collaborate in shift meetings, problem-solving sessions, training events, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational school or an associate degree preferred.
• Prior industrial experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or a related trade preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, numerical and analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to operate manufacturing machinery, mobile equipment such as forklifts, hand tools, and testing devices safely.
• Proficient computer skills, including accurate data entry into IT systems and databases.
• Ability to work on-site in Newark, Delaware, on rotating or changing 12-hour shifts, including weekends, holidays, overtime, and short-notice schedule changes.
