Machine Operator, Thur-Sat + every other Wed, 6 am to 6:30 pm

Location: Bedford, MA, United States. Full-time schedule: Thursday–Saturday and every other Wednesday, 6:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m.

Pay: $24–$26 per hour starting, plus shift differential.

What you will do

• Operate and maintain UPE membrane equipment through extrusion, extraction, annealing, surface modification, inspection, trimming, and packaging.
• Perform production-line operations according to work orders and process record instructions.
• Visually inspect products, take corrective action, and escalate quality issues when necessary.
• Complete production reports, labels, component sheets, rework sheets, SAP transactions, and hourly process records.
• Support customer satisfaction, waste elimination, cost effectiveness, and product and system quality.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand documented processes, procedures, instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Good attention to detail, basic math, computer data entry, and ability to use measuring devices and hand tools.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb a ladder up to 4 feet, and stand and walk for the entire shift.
• Ability to repetitively pinch, grasp, twist, bend, reach upward, and handle manufacturing materials in different environments.
• Proficient English required for reading documentation, communication, and writing.

Nice to have

• One year of manufacturing experience.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Root cause analysis and problem-solving knowledge.
