Senior Medical Science Liaison (NMOSD & gMG-Rare Disease)

What you will do

• Serve as a scientific liaison to medical and scientific communities and build relationships with prominent experts and clinicians.
• Partner with medical thought leaders, academic institutions, medical directors, managed care decision-makers, and pharmacy directors.
• Communicate scientific, medical, health-economic, and product information in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Identify customer needs, connect them with internal resources, and collaborate across functional areas.
• Support speaker programs, conferences, investigator relationships, and clinical research collaborations, including investigator-initiated and company-sponsored trials.
• Monitor therapeutic-area competition, treatment trends, and new therapies, providing feedback to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree and 2 years of Medical Affairs experience, or master’s degree and 6 years of experience, or bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience.
• Strong oral and written communication, networking, interpersonal, and scientific presentation skills.
• Ability to travel up to 60% for territory management, conferences, workshops, and company meetings.
• Ability to work independently in a changing environment and learn new business applications across PC and iPad hardware.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a professional, proactive demeanor.

Nice to have

• Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D., D.O., or another doctoral degree.
• At least 2 years of experience as a medical science liaison in a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company.
• Experience or potential to excel in smaller entrepreneurial organizations.
