Senior Medical Science Liaison - Breast & Gynecologic Oncology (Biotechnology)

Location: Field-based role covering Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, and Iowa. Applicants should reside within 30 miles of a major airport and within 50 miles of the established territory. Business travel by air or car may take up to 70% of working time, with overnight travel and significant driving required. Relocation benefits are not available.

Salary: $161,300–$299,500 annually, plus a discretionary annual bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Provide clinical and health economic information on approved and pipeline medicines.
• Engage healthcare providers, population health decision makers, and patients to support improved outcomes.
• Demonstrate scientific expertise in assigned molecules, products, and therapeutic areas.
• Build relationships with external scientific and medical customers to understand healthcare trends.
• Discuss value, cost of care, adverse-event management, and patient outcomes.
• Co-create local medical strategy with regional partners and share customer insights across the organization.

Requirements

• Advanced clinical or science degree such as MD, PharmD, PhD, MSN, NP, or PA; BSN candidates require extensive field medical experience with a pharmaceutical company.
• At least 5 years of related clinical, managed care, or industry experience.
• Proficiency in GCP and ICH requirements.
• Knowledge of the relevant therapeutic area, product and safety profiles, managed care, health economics, reimbursement, and pharmaceutical legal and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to travel regularly and meet the territory, airport, driving, and vehicle-record requirements.

Nice to have

• Previous field medical science liaison experience.
• At least 2 years of clinical or health economic research experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in the relevant therapy area.
• In-depth knowledge of Phase IV and post-marketing drug development.
