CD&A Data Scientist, Obesity - Associate (Healthcare Analytics)

Location: Hybrid in Thousand Oaks, California, United States; three days per week onsite. The stated U.S. salary range excludes Puerto Rico.

What you will do

• Support commercial analytics for forecasting inputs, patient and market segmentation, and performance measurement.
• Apply statistical and machine-learning techniques to structured commercial and healthcare datasets.
• Perform exploratory analysis, data preparation, feature engineering, model evaluation, and analytical quality review.
• Write and maintain SQL queries and use Python and/or R for data cleaning, analysis, and model development.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Tableau, Spotfire, or similar tools.
• Translate business questions into analytical tasks and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or an associate degree with four years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma/GED with six years of relevant experience.
• Working proficiency in Python and/or R and experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Foundational understanding of statistical modeling and machine-learning concepts.
• Experience preparing, cleaning, and analyzing large or complex datasets.
• Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly and collaborate in a matrixed organization.
• Ability to work onsite in Thousand Oaks, California, three days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with Tableau, Spotfire, Databricks, Azure, or AWS.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or commercial analytics.
• Knowledge of cloud analytics platforms and model deployment workflows.
