What you will do

• Develop, implement, evaluate, and enhance machine learning, AI, NLP, and statistical models for complex healthcare data.
• Design reusable data solutions for prediction, probabilistic matching, outlier detection, confidence scoring, and other analytic use cases.
• Collaborate with product management, development, research, architecture, and data science leadership to integrate prototypes into products and services.
• Explore high-dimensional datasets, test hypotheses, analyze product experiments, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Gather requirements, assess implementation impacts, and support build-versus-buy decisions for analytic solutions.
• Share data science expertise through presentations, mentoring, training, standards, and best-practice development.

Requirements

• 4 or more years of applicable experience and a bachelor's degree; a master's degree is also listed as a requirement.
• Experience designing and developing probabilistic and predictive statistical models, including regression, hypothesis testing, Naive Bayes, and Monte Carlo simulation.
• Proficiency with R or Python and advanced data analysis, querying, ETL, and three-tier application concepts.
• Experience with Oracle, DB2, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and Netezza.
• Knowledge of clinical data such as UB and 1500 claims, HL7, CDA, EHR systems, and healthcare taxonomies.
• Healthcare research experience with large patient datasets, plus strong consulting, communication, collaboration, and conflict-management skills.
