Manager-Quality Engineering

Annual base salary: $91,000–$247,000, plus restricted stock units and quarterly bonuses.

What you will do

• Lead and develop Quality Engineering, Quality Control, and Inspection teams at the Lawrence site.
• Maintain and improve the site Quality Management System and coordinate internal, customer, and certification audits.
• Manage customer failure analysis, root cause investigations, 8D reports, and corrective and preventive actions.
• Support manufacturing quality through inspections, MRB analysis, CAPA, process monitoring, and training.
• Support supplier quality, first article assessments, material and product evaluations, and MRB activities.
• Drive quality planning for NPI, FMEA, key characteristics, process development, and DLA part qualification.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering, or 10+ years of equivalent manufacturing or quality experience.
• 7–10+ years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3–5+ years of supervisory or management experience leading quality teams.
• Experience with Six Sigma, 8D, root cause analysis, Lean tools, data analysis, and statistical methods.
• Strong knowledge of ISO9001, AS9100, MIL-PRF-19500, and MIL-PRF-38534 quality and certification requirements.
• Must provide proof of U.S. citizenship, permanent U.S. residency, or protected-individual status under U.S. export-control regulations.
