What you will do

• Partner with business leaders to translate strategic analytics and BI needs into scalable technology solutions.
• Define and deliver the data and analytics architecture, tooling, and governance frameworks for a cloud-based ecosystem.
• Lead multiple engineering teams as a player-coach to accelerate the organization's data transformation journey.
• Implement modern engineering practices, including DevOps, automation, and inner sourcing to enhance agility.
• Oversee the rapid ingestion of new data sources and the efficient deployment of AI models into production.
• Manage delivery timelines, budgets, and quality standards for high-visibility data initiatives.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work in Warren, NJ (Hybrid).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in data engineering and 5+ years of people leadership experience.
• 10+ years of experience within the insurance or financial services industry.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Azure stack, specifically Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks.
• Strong programming expertise in Python and SQL.
