Systems Administrator-Cleared (Cybersecurity)

Location: Onsite in Long Beach, California, United States. Active TS/SCI security clearance is required upon hire. Applicants must be U.S. Persons and eligible to obtain required export authorizations.

Salary: $170,000–$200,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Administer Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, including user lifecycle, licensing, service health, Entra ID, resource management, and monitoring.
• Manage endpoint enrollment, configuration, and compliance through Microsoft Intune.
• Administer Okta or comparable identity platforms for SSO, MFA, and access management.
• Maintain Windows Server, Linux Server, Active Directory, and virtualization environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot Fortinet firewalls, switches, VPNs, and related network infrastructure.
• Automate operational tasks with PowerShell, Bash, or Python, maintain runbooks, and resolve escalated support issues during on-call rotations.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI security clearance required upon hire.
• At least 3 years of hands-on systems administration or IT infrastructure experience.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365, Azure, Okta, Active Directory, Windows Server, and Linux administration.
• Experience with VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, or equivalent virtualization technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet FortiGate, FortiSwitch, and FortiClient VPN.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, VPNs, server hardening, and scripting with PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

Nice to have

• Experience with PKI, certificate lifecycle management, domain management, and DNS registrar administration.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, or similar ITSM platforms.
• Certifications such as AZ-104, MS-102, Okta Certified Administrator, NSE 4+, MCSA, or MCSE.
