Senior IT System Administrator

Location: Long Beach, California, United States; full-time position at the Long Beach location

Salary: $107,010–$151,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Design, implement, and optimize enterprise-scale Windows Server infrastructure supporting 500+ endpoints and mission-critical operations.
• Architect and maintain complex Active Directory environments, including multi-forest and multi-domain designs, trusts, replication, schema, FSMO roles, and disaster recovery.
• Design Group Policy architecture with inheritance models, WMI filtering, security filtering, and loopback processing.
• Manage enterprise endpoint solutions using Group Policy, Configuration Manager, JAMF, Linux management, and other endpoint platforms.
• Develop endpoint security baselines aligned with CIS, NIST 800-53, and CMMC requirements.
• Design patch-management architecture, coordinate patching across environments, and manage pilot groups, patch rings, and phased deployments.

Requirements

• 4+ years of enterprise IT system administration experience.
• 4+ years of experience with endpoint management tools such as JAMF, Intune, or GPO.
• Experience managing patches across diverse server and endpoint environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V, and networking fundamentals including subnets, VLANs, and routing.
• Scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation and installation.
• Must qualify as a U.S. person under U.S. export-control rules or otherwise be eligible for deemed export licensing.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise patch-management tools such as WSUS, Ivanti, or Automox.
• Knowledge of SaaS integration with existing IT infrastructure.
• Experience with ITAR, NIST, FedRAMP, or other regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Experience independently managing complex, cross-functional IT projects.
