Senior Systems Administrator

Location: Blue Ops, Valdosta, Georgia, United States; facility-based work with regular movement through indoor and outdoor areas.

What you will do

• Administer and optimize Windows, Linux, and macOS endpoints, servers, and cloud-hosted systems.
• Manage Microsoft 365 Commercial and GCC High tenants, Active Directory, Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, certificates, file services, and related enterprise platforms.
• Operate Azure and AWS infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, networking, access controls, monitoring, and cost management.
• Maintain patching, monitoring, alerting, logging, backups, disaster recovery, vulnerability remediation, and secure configuration baselines.
• Handle complex escalations, incidents, changes, service requests, documentation, and infrastructure integrations with engineering and DevOps teams.
• Lead modernization and automation initiatives, provide on-call support, and mentor junior administrators and service desk personnel.

Requirements

• Must be a US Person: U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual under applicable export-control regulations.
• Must not require sponsorship for export-restricted work authorization.
• 7+ years of hands-on systems administration or infrastructure operations experience, including 3+ years in a senior, lead, escalation, or infrastructure-owner capacity.
• Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, enterprise identity, Linux, macOS, Microsoft 365, and Azure or AWS.
• Experience with endpoint management, hardening, vulnerability remediation, backup operations, disaster recovery, IT service management, and technical documentation.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure, identity, networking, endpoint, application, and cloud issues independently.

Nice to have

• Microsoft GCC High, Intune, Autopilot, Defender, Purview, Exchange Online Protection, or related Microsoft security and compliance experience.
• Experience with CMMC, NIST 800-171, ITAR/EAR, or other regulated infrastructure environments.
• PowerShell, Python, Bash, VMware, Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub, CI/CD, SolidWorks PDM, monitoring, backup, or disaster recovery experience.
• Relevant Microsoft, AWS, Azure, Linux, VMware, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or ITIL certifications.
• Experience mentoring junior team members or improving operational processes.
