Systems Administrator

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States; 4–5 days per week in the office. Regular in-person meetings, company events, and occasional travel are required.

Salary: $110,000–$135,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Administer and optimize Microsoft 365 services, including configurations, security settings, and operational requirements.
• Support VMware Horizon, Nutanix, virtual desktop, end-user computing, business, engineering, and enterprise application environments.
• Manage SaaS account provisioning, license assignment, access requests, and Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support.
• Perform server maintenance, updates, monitoring, backups, and checks to maintain reliable and compliant systems.
• Diagnose infrastructure, application, server, and network issues, identify root causes, and prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with security, networking, engineering, and business stakeholders to develop infrastructure, endpoint management, automation, and process improvements.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in IT support, help desk, or systems administration.
• Exposure to compute, storage, networking, and virtualization concepts.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows and/or Linux, and identity and access management such as Microsoft Entra ID.
• Ability to communicate clearly, follow direction, collaborate effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent degree is a plus.

Nice to have

• Experience with virtual desktop infrastructure or end-user computing environments.
• Exposure to scripting or automation, such as PowerShell.
