Senior Business Analyst - Workers’ Compensation

What you will do

• Analyze business needs and design, test, and implement technical solutions for policy, claims, and underwriting systems.
• Lead projects across the full lifecycle, including scope definition and risk management.
• Create detailed requirements, functional specifications, and data flow analyses.
• Collaborate with customers, IT teams, and business stakeholders to align systems with operational goals.
• Define test cases and matrices, perform testing, and support data-driven decision-making.
• Identify process improvements, lead high-complexity initiatives, and mentor junior staff.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in a business analyst role.
• 5+ years of experience in the insurance software domain.
• Knowledge and experience with US workers’ compensation regulations.
• Experience with requirements gathering, SQL, and agile methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or technology; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office, including Word and Excel, plus data visualization tools.
